Barrett M82A1 is an advanced sniper rifle used in Brazil.

The M82A1 is first seen in Just Another Day at the Office where it is seen being used by Cracha Preto who disrupt the deal at the stadium. Later Max uses this weapon to cover Passos in the same mission. It later appears in The Great American Savior of the Poor where Max uses it to dispose of a few enemy snipers in a opposite building. In this mission Max is able to carry it through the mission. It may come in handy when trying to kill the final enemy with the LMG .30. In the campaign this sniper is able to kill with 1 or 2 shots, depending on the armor of the target.

MultiplayerEdit

The Barret M82A1 is unlocked at rank 40 in multiplayer and costs 13.000$.

At first the M82A1 is a handy piece. It being able to kill light armored enemies with just one shot. With all the upgrades the M82A1 will be able to kill most heavy armored targets with just 1 or 2 shots depending on range.
