Content policy proposal

Forum page
It's time to continue building the Max Payne Wiki's policies. One very significant one comes up on my to-do list. The content policy. It describes just what exactly should the wiki really be covering and including in its articles. Below is my vision of the guideline; do add your thoughts about it, if you have any, to the comments section below.
One point of discussion about the guideline could be:
- should we be including info about fan projects (fan films, mods, etc.) in the wiki or not? I personally think that we should only cover the official Max Payne series' products, which currently are the 3 games, comics, and one film. All these unofficial fan projects are always of varying quality and size and prominence and not equally interesting to the whole community, requiring establishing many criteria requirements about which additions would exactly be allowed to be included in the wiki and which not, etc.
Other ideas of mine I just put in the following draft of the policy. Here goes:

General rules
Edit
- All content added to the Max Payne Wiki should relate to the official products of the Max Payne franchise which currently include 3 video games on various consoles, comics, and one film.
- All content needs to be accurate and verifiable. Speculation must not be present in articles.
- Fan fiction, fan art, fan films, and game mods are not covered by the wiki.
- All content needs to be objective. The writer must not explicitly state his personal tastes in the articles.
- All content needs to respect copyright regulations. For example, uploading magazine article scans or adding illegally obtained information, can cause potential legal problems and is not permitted.
Specific content criteria
Edit
Spoiler policy
Edit
- In general, the whole wiki is considered a spoiler and specific spoilers should not be marked as such in articles.
- The only exception to this rule is information relating to any upcoming or recently released franchise product. This information should be marked as a spoiler.
