Paranoia is a Max Payne 3 multiplayer burst. Its main function is to subvert the opposing team's trust and recognition of truly hositle targets.
To make effective use of the Burst, try to activate it when opposing players are disperse throughout the battlefield, losing sight of where their friends are. Not all that useful when they are clumped together, unless you use it to move into that group.

An opponent's Paranoia can be rendered completely useless if a player has the ID Cards item, which protects their entire team from confusing team affiliation.
