So, after more than two months after Max Payne 3 release, I finally got the power to write a review.

StoryEdit

Max Payne 3 continues the Max Payne saga, nine long years since Max Payne 2. Painkillers-addicted, fatman, retired, Max is everything but his former self. He lives the same day, everyday, getting drunk at a bar.

I really liked the game's story, a true maserpiece from Rockstar Games, who contiues writing interesting plots for the best series franchises such as GTA and Red Dead. Personally, I like the first game's story better, but Max Payne 3 still has a touchy story.

GraphicsEdit

One of the best good-looking games of the year. Characters and locations feel so alive and react to the player's actions. There are are still some bugs, though, but it is overall beautiful and detail game.

SoundEdit

Voice actors make the characters real and alive. Music is great. Good to hear once again the series' main theme - we missed you. James McCaffrey alone is a reason to buy the game, to hear the cool and unique voice of Max. Gunfire sounds real, same for other effects.

GameplayEdit

What can you say about it? The ol', elegant, simple gampley of the Max Payne series. Bullet time and Shootdodge make a return - really classic. Only one tiny problem - repetitive gameplay.

Lasting AppealEdit

Singleplayer is a bit shorter than previous titles (14 chapters in this game compared to 25 in MP1 and MP2), but the chapters are much longer than previous titles. You have many clues and golden guns to collect, as well a very fun arcade mode.

Multiplayer alone is a reason to buy this game. While the multiplayer looks simple and "just another third-person shooter - kill 'em all" type, it is very fun and will tie you to your couch for hours.

One year of XD

So, how are you, people of Wikia,

Today is a special day (to me, atleast), it marks a year sionce I joined Wikia.

It all started on June 23rd, 2011 (duh!), after months of being annon, I made an account and began to travel through the wikis.

Until the start July 1st, I didn't make nothing, only some minor edits on some wikis. In that date, I found a 'new home' (nah, not really) in the form of the GTA Wiki, and by August, I've became a Patroller there. I was promoted to an admion in April 2012. I met many people there, some friendly, some vandals, but I had a really good time on that Wiki.

My second (major) stop was the Gangstar Wiki, founded by a good friend of mine, and former admin of GTA Wiki, GTANiKo. By November, I've already became a Bureaucrat.

Third Stop! The Red Dead Wiki. Had a hard beginning when I joined in July, but look now! I am a Chat Moderator and a Patroller there. I'm also regular on chat.

Forth stop! The LA Noire Wiki, for the time being, I am semi-active there, but I check the Wiki when I have time. I started to edit pages there once I finished the game (in less than two days), and I became a Patroller there, after the position was offered by a friend of mine, who acts as a Bureaucrat there.

Fifth stop! The Rockstar Games Wiki, which I founded. It currently small and not very active, but I try to expand it and make it one of the largest Wikis ever! :D

Sixth stop! The Red Dead Answers. I adopted the Wiki, along with another editor. I gave admins rights to a friend of mine (who is also a Rollbacker on the Red Dead Wiki).

Seventh and final stop! The Max Payne Wiki, where I became an admin during May. That's the place where I'm currently active, as the game Max Payne 3 was released a month ago. This Wiki was neglected for a long time, and along with the local Bureaucrat, I'm working to relive this Wiki!

Okay guys, only a few days left for the release of Max Payne 3, and I have really awesome news: the launch trailer was released!

So, what do you think about the game? Is it going to be a success, or will it fail? (The former is the better and most likely result)

Max Payne 3 weapons: the M1911

Update (April 27, 2012): The weapon's description has been revised and the error mentioning it being Payne's sidearm "since early days" has been removed:

An American classic, the 1911 semi-automatic pistol is one of the most versatile weapons in Max Payne's arsenal. Max is able to dual wield this reliable and hard-hitting .45 handgun, keeping him as lethal and agile as possible.

It's been a while since the weapons part of Max Payne 3 was updated (with shotguns), and now, Rockstar revealed to us a new weapon, the M1911, the most known, popular and used handgun in the world. Its ingame name is 1911.

According to the website, the M1911 is:

A compact and reliable semi-automatic pistol that’s been part of Max Payne’s arsenal since his early days on the force, the 1911 is a hard-hitting sidearm that’s perfect for dual-wielding and often found in the hands of special force and rescue teams around the world.

This is a bit strange, because if I am not wrong, this weapon did not appear in Max Payne or Max Payne 2, but who gives a s***, we got a new weapon ;)

Max Payne 3 Shotguns!

So, Rockstar revealed other weapons that will be featured in Max Payne 3. This time, they are the shotguns!

The only shotgun that will return from former games is the Sawed-off shotgun, though the new shotguns seem to be far more cooler and stronger from the ones shown in Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2.

M4 Super 90 - semi-auto combat shotgun that will smush your faces!
M500 - a pump action that all gangs in Brazil love.
Super Sport - super fast, super wicked, super light, and super deadly!
SPAS-15 - this shotgun will leave you speechless, and lifeless XD

Fabiana Branco is revealed!

So, a few days ago, the Max Payne 3 website was updated with new information about one of the central characters of the game - Fabiana Branco.

The new "police page" reveals many things about the woman:

Born in 1985

Maiden Name is Taveres

Married Rodrigo Branco in 2009.

She was already kidnapped once before the game's events. And one more attempt to do so failed.

Fashion model, or something similar :P
