Hello, thank you for your contributions, and let me Welcome you to the Max Payne Wiki - the collabative wiki project bearing the idealistic goal of building the most detailed and resourceful collection of information about the Max Payne series that has ever existed. There is always something to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.

New to wikis in general? You can check out the Wikia help pages to learn how to edit, read the simplified ruleset of this wiki, or glance at the Community Portal. For test edits, a personal sandbox can be used.
The complete and more detailed guidelines of the Max Payne Wiki are currently being developed, and you can always bring your suggestions or insight to the Forum. The current guidelines that have been passed can be found here.
Recent changes lets you see what pages other people have been editing, and where you might be able to help.
Please sign in every time you edit, so that we can recognize you, and so that you could keep track of your own contributions to the wiki.
If you haven't already, create a user page about yourself. This way we'll be able to know you better as a member of our community.
The Forum could be used for any general discussions about Max Payne.
Questions? You can ask at the Help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page.
Finally, never remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record (except outright vandalism). Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

"Preview" buttonEdit

Nice transcripts over at the Lords and Ladies articles! One editing tip: use the "preview" button before submitting final edits, as too many of them can clog articles' history pages and make it difficult for other editors to check them out easily. As with any real present, you can do anything you want with it. You can just throw it out (delete it) or move it to some other place - it's your headache now afterall!

RollbackEdit

Hello Aegirsson :)

Due to your very good and helpfull edits, I offered to BearPaw that you'll be given Rollback tool, and he agreed. With the "Rollback" you can revert many bad edits (that were made by one user), with one click. It would help you if you'll notice bad edits, and will save you some time. Would you like that?

Alright, Aegirsson, you now have the "rollback" option when you are in an article's history page. But you should only rollback vandalism or similar detrimental multiple edits because with the rollback you are not given the option to fill in an edit summary, just one click and it's done. If you revert good-faith edits with rollback, this is considered bad manners as reverting someone's edits without any explanation can hurt the feelings of other editors. ;)

P.S. Yes, I'm hiding in a cave for quite some time starting May 15 as well. ;) --TheBearPaw 12:24, May 6, 2012 (UTC)
