The Valkyr test subjects are test subjects for the drug Valkyr. On August 22, 1998, Nicole Horne sent 3 of the subjects to the Payne residence to eliminate Michelle and Rose Payne, the wife and daughter of Max Payne. Horne labeled it as a "field test" in an "urban environment".

The test subjects appear later in the game, in cells at the Cold Steel laboratory. They act similar to the Valkyr junkies.
